Welcome to my photography site. I’m a self-taught enthusiast focused on street, travel, and event photography. Many of the albums and blog posts you’ll find here are intended as photo essays that tell a story, while others simply document a subject or event. My work has been featured in publications such as HuffPost, GetApp, and USA Today.
While I’ve always enjoyed photography, inspiration truly struck while living in Japan from 2010 to 2012, not only because the country is incredibly picturesque but also because I discovered the work of several photographers, such as Kayo Ume and Natsumi Hayashi, which opened my mind to what photography can be. Since then, I’ve been exploring and refining my own unique style and process, which is reflected throughout my work on this site.
In 2024, I self-published my first photography book, Seasons of Matsusaka, which captures the vibrant culture and natural beauty of the mid-sized Japanese city through the lens of seasonal change. My next book project will focus on my years living in Madrid, portraying a dynamic metropolis where grand architecture and monumental spaces intertwine with the pulse of everyday life.
As for gear, I use Panasonic micro 4/3 systems and most of my shots are taken with a Leica Summilux 25mm (50mm equivalent) f/1.4 or a 14mm (28mm equivalent) f/2.5 pancake lens.
